· 3 cups granny smith apples peeled and sliced into wedges
· ¾ cups of sugar
· 1 tsp. cinnamon
· 3 tablespoon of butter
· 1/4 cup whiskey
In medium sized pot, melt the butter. After butter is melted mix in sugar and cinnamon. Stir for one minute and then add the apples. Stir occasionally while cooking on medium heat with a lid on the pot. When the mixture comes to a boil, simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add your whiskey and simmer uncovered for 3-5 minutes.
